Hospice care is for those with a prognosis of six months or less, whose focus is on comfort and quality of life rather than aggressive treatment and therapies.

Evergreen will work to provide each patient complete care consistent with his or her goals. This may include, but is not limited to, therapies such as palliative radiation, IV medication, and nutritional support.

Appropriate hospice diagnoses include, but are not limited to:

• COPD

• Alzheimer's
• Renal Disease
• Parkinson's Disease
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Muscular Dystrophy
• Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
• AIDS
